The exceptional performance of Godfrey Utim against the best defensive legs of Rivers United FC might earn him a place in the Rivers United team.
The power striker was just unstoppable against the Rivers United defenders in their friendly encounter hence he earned several applause from the Rivers United technical manager, Stanley Eguma after the game.
The encounter was a good test for Rivers United as Stanley Eguma wants his team to be in top level match form before their first encounter against the Young Africans of Tanzania. The Galaxy Sports center forward player stole the show against Rivers United.
Utim was on his way to China but injury denied him the opportunity to pursue his career away from Africa before the Covid-19 outbreak. His performance against Rivers United attracted several Nigerian clubs and this only proves the young lad is back. If Stanley Eguma decides to add the power striker to his offensive side, the coming season might be an easy ride for the best tactician in the NPFL.
